Enough about Intelligence of ORISSA.

Now lets go to the Entertainment side of this beautiful state. This place is not short on natural talent either. This has one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in the name of SIMLIPAL WILDLIFE SANCTUARY which is famous for TIGERS. This place is located towards the heart of ORISSA where people truly have heart to boast off. This place also has some beautiful scenery(s) to make people come from distant lands and spend some quality time. Places like DHAULI GIRI which is in BHUBANESWAR is a place in the name of LORD BUDDHA. Places like the PURI SEA BEACH which is commonly known as the BAY OF BENGAL is the perfect sight for the adventurous people because it is BIG, HUGE, GIGANTIC. Though all the words refer to the same meaning, it's density still cant be measured through words.

Now jumping to the plights of a million people across the word who shout the same word- FOOD.

FOOD is a god gift here. The delicacies here provide taste along with power to all those who take them for choice and also for them who take them with disgust. Starting from the famous ORISSA CUISINE- DALMA to the various types of CHAPATIS or popularly known as RUTI or PITHA here are quite a mouthfull to take. Another famous CUISINE here is the WATER RICE or popularly known as PAKHALA. Some delicacies which no one has even heard of in any place are the most popular things here. Studded with the likes and dislikes of a millions, this place gives you the exact meaning of food in all forms.

Hello Everyone...

In my last blog, I had shared with you the beauty of ORISSA but today I am here to give you a piece of the intelligence ORISSA contains. I had mentioned that ORISSA is a place of delight for Engineers and Histologists and for good reason too. Damn...Oh sorry... Its because of the dams like HIRAKUD DAM in Sambalpur district of ORISSA which is the biggest here and also is one of the biggest in INDIA. The other major fact is that the migration of top personalities of the world migrating to ORISSA for various projects and infrastructures which provide Engineers with enough opportunities to get some thing beyond the theory language of books. Industrialists like MR. LAKSHMI MITTAL and few others who have shown great belief and interest in the land of LORD JAGANNATH and have been succesfull to a great extent till now. So, quite clearly, this is the place of extraction for the technical line people.

Now coming to the Histologists, this place is the perfect hunting ground for them as this place is the birth place of LORD BUDDHA as found out recently. The change of birth place of LORD BUDDHA form LUBINIVANA to ORISSA marked a significant change in the upcoming history of this place and besides this, it is the place where EMPEROR ASHOKA gave way to peace and love after the war at DAYA RIVER which saw the death of thousands of people. The buried facts found in many villages across ORISSA has made the Histologists think again about the facts they have wrote down on the papers courtesy previous findings in other parts of INDIA.

So, this place is really not the kind of place where people run for livelihood instead this is the place where there are many places yet to be excavated.

I hope you got a fair amount of idea what a state like ORISSA is potentially and what kind of stuffs it contains. Last time I posted my blog, I wrote about temples but today its different. Today I'll give you some knowledge about the places which have life in them and provide just the kind of atmosphere required to cheer some one up.

CHILIKA. This place is located in the southern region of ORISSA. This is bird lover's paradise. Thousands and thousands of birds migrate here in the winter and a fair amount in rainy days. All kinds of birds come here. Birds from Siberia are quite the sight to watch out for here. The humming sound, the chirping sound, the melodious sound and many other kinds of sounds and voices are heard here. This is the perfect place for a person to enjoy a holiday from the busy schedule of life and get things back in order. Getting to more serious talks, ORISSA is not only a place to enjoy but also it is the place of delight for Engineers and Histologists.

I live in ORISSA. A state which is popularly known for its unpopularity. The state which has gone from step to step but has not climbed anything steep.

It's capital is BHUBANESWAR and this city is mostly well known as the TEMPLE CITY. I bet most of you dont know that. Talking about temples , the most popularly known temple is the KONARK temple. Known mostly for its beauty, this temple has been one of the favourite hunting grounds for the tourists and not only this " Did anyone know that the rays of sun first falls on the KONARK temple?" Next in line comes the JAGANNATH temple in one of the most tourists visited places i.e- PURI and LORD JAGANNATH'S diety inside the temple along with his brother LORD BALABHADRA and LORDESS SUBHADRA is quite the vision for people across the world. ORISSA and its historical sites provide people the much wanted purification for which they come here and there are other places too which are worth mentioning and i'll talk about them in the next blog I post..
